I considered going to Goa a few years ago. India seems like an interesting place to visit, but for Americans it's not so easy, and there's too many issues. Maybe if I had a friend there who could house me and show me around, I would go. Maybe I'll get there some day.

No, it IS luck! I agree, you're rubbing it in! I can't stand it when people deny that it isn't luck. People tell me I'm "lucky" too and I NEVER say anything otherwise. You are LUCKY! Even all those things you mentioned are based on luck, because you could have just as easily been in the opposite situation. Maybe you just have a different definition of luck, but no, it IS luck!

@KostasKouvalis I'll tell you why i do not define it as luck, I come from a poor background i am not rich far from it but i enjoy studying. I saw the AI wave coming years in advance back when most people didn't even know about this field. I was learning to program in my childhood and studding hard independently on each of the new advancements of the field. I prepared for years and got a good job years ahead of the curve. I continue to strive to improve and remain not because of luck but hard work and self study. That is how I've gotten to where i am. It is not luck as i brought this fourth with my own hands. I was not some luck bastard who was born to rich parents and destine to inherit millions if not billions someday.
