  The current president hates Americans and starting April you will have to pay $160 for a visa and provide your bank and employment information, even if you are only transiting and aren't leaving the airport

  @KostasKouvalis are you serious? There's no way I'm giving a foreign country my banking information, especially not a country as corrupt as Brazil. I don't even feel comfortable having to share my banking info with my gym.

  @avery58 Yeah, I'm serious. I have contact in Brazil. Lula is a piece of shit! Bolsanaro should still be in charge. Even the previous visa regime wasn't this bad. Brazil long had a policy that they require visa from any country that requires a visa from them, but Bolsarano lifted visas for us, but Lula clearly hates Americans. He's a piece of shit!
  
  You can still go before April. You can also marry a Brazilian and you'll automatically become a citizen
