Is Dubai worth a trip? Why or why not?

Question

Is Dubai a good destination for young people to travel with their friends or even with their parents? I am asking this question because one day I’d like to travel there one day and could probably go with my dad.

Is Dubai worth visiting at some point? If so, can it be done for cheap?

I'm sure you could enjoy some of the slave prostitutes they have... go ahead and look it up. Maybe meet some of the indentured slaves that built the place... you know, the ones that they invite into country and confiscate their passports so they cannot leave til they pay their debts?

Besides that it may be lonely because if you touch someone, you are violating the law and go to jail for a year. It's not free like the west.. caught drinking, holding hands or other such crimes... do jail time.

check the weather, hotter than he!! and maybe in some ways, it is...

it might be a blast, but I avoid it. Its one reason to switch to electric...

Ask yourself this what would you do over there all alone you don’t even know where are going are you gonna trust strangers ask them questions and they’re gonna say come with me. Please will help you out. You’re gonna get in somebody’s car and let them take you somewhere. That’s a huge mistake going over there, especially by yourself.

I've been there several times and I never felt "at home" there.

Pros:

1. Impressive skyline

2. The entire city is a modern marvel.

3. Luxury that can be rivaled by only a few.

Cons:

1. Plentiful unfriendly locals

2. Desert climate

3. Pricey

4. Only the presentation of food is nice... not the actual food, in general.

5. If you can't afford the luxury accommodations, you might end up in a dump.

6. Can be considered "sin city" as well.

7. There are always eyes watching you.

Some people like it, some don’t. It’s worth to experience at least one.
I think Dubai was absolutely garbage and you couldn’t pay for my plane ticket to have me go back. People there are so full of themselves like the world owes them for existing. Dubai will set you just similarly to other major cities like NY and London. There’s culture, but it’s shadowed by all the foreign tourists, power and investment. I found Dubai to be extremely pretentious.

I vote no for the last quest u asked. No, it is nearly impossible for your trip to be done cheap in dubai. It is expensive there. Speaking of worthiness, it depends back on your preference, did you enjoy being surrounded by skyscrapers? Adding up with the heat🥵 Unless you have additional budget and you would love to have some adventures like skydiving, dessert safari/quad bike, the famous dubai marina zipline, then i guess it would add points to your trip.

Go to an overpriced mall at home and save yourself the trip. The food is lackluster, the people are pompous, the weather sucks. It's all the shite parts of the middle east and you don't even get to shoot anybody.
