Wales, Scottland, UK, Ireland... Your preference if you could travel to one of these countries?

Most tourists head to London but its a poor choice, overpriced, dirty, and not really representative of the UK. A better choice would be Chester, England. It's a pretty little city and within an hour you can reach Liverpool, Manchester, and large parts of Wales (avoid the North Coastal towns they're a dive, keep going until you hit the west coast or anglesey or Llangollen)

With Chester you kinda get so two countries for the price of one. Since it sits on the border. It's only a short drive to the Irish ferry from there too.

Ireland is part of the British Isles and I think that confuses a lot of people. The UKs problem is it concentrates its wealth generation into a tiny part of London and a handful of financial companies which has led to under investment elsewhere, not at least Scotland.

I've been to them all and since I am from the one with the best whisky but worst beer I will take that out of the equation. Ireland for the craic and rugby, Wales for the spirit of community and perhaps some of the best choirs and England (avoiding the capital) for the charm and Britishness (of the countries that make the British Isles, it's the only one that actually encompasses the ridiculous notion of pride of the Empire and the historical obsession it has with itself.

Some do. One of the lassies I went out with after having a crush at school 15 years earlier had massive knockers and ended up needing surgery to reduce them because they were causing her small frame (under 5") to stress her back and after 2 kids she'd gotten sick of the bonnie lassies.

There are a lot of fat Scots to be fair but having been to US I can grasp where you're coming from there are more of them there and they are bigger. Scots have crappy weather that uses up a lot of the body's energy so they tend to get blubbery and lack outdoor exercise though younger generations have a more active indoor gym lifestyle than formerly. I think thats down to aspiration becoming more of a thing there.
