I didn't expect such a nice comment. Thank you very much. Yeah Turks are a big family. Some comments said that Westerners don't know much, but as a historian, that's what I'm here for ❤️

I don't know much about them honestly, and I haven't met enough to form an opinion. But from what I've seen from documentaries, they seem westernized in some aspects, but backwards in others. I will say though, I don't consider Turks Turkic. They look nothing like Central Asians and the ones on the coast are the same race Mediterranean people and I consider them White. And there were some Uyghur girls I've seen that were also extremely White.

When I was in Turkey, there was a family from Kazkhstan on of our tours. The guide was trying to sell them another tour and I was annoyed and thought it was hypocritical that they were trying not to get scammed, even though they scam tourists themselves.

Most Westerners don't know much about Central Asia at all, but I think it's an interesting region. Admittedly I don't know much about it myself but seems like beautiful mountains and peaceful, quiet countries.
