The two don’t have to be mutually exclusive to each other plus I think it would be fun to see the mix ups.
For me my favorite season is probably up for grabs between winter, spring and fall. Spring cause it’s bright and sunny outside but not to hot and not to cold you can enjoy yourself in the sun. Unless you have allergies sorry to those people plus my birthday is in that season 😭
But my favorite holiday is Christmas with Halloween following close behind especially as I’ve gotten older. And I love the winter time mostly because of the holiday season I think the closest we’ve gotten to magic in this world is probably Christmas especially as experiencing it all for the first few times when your really young. When you’re just old enough ti understand what’s happening but not the concept of holidays or anything the drastic change to everything being white with snow and all the brightly colored lights and holiday music in the background. It felt like everyone was in. A good mood not to mention all the holiday movies tv specials commercial and bumpers.
And the sweet treats too like a warm cup of hot chocolate there was always such a cozy feeling around that time of year and it was a nice change coming of the heals of Halloween with all the spooky theming and the ether just starting to get cold but not so much so that you you need to really bundle up yet the holidays are a hell of a time and the general vibe was always the best.
I do think the holidays have declined quite a bit over the years not just do to aging but I think just more people aren’t as excited or going out or recording anymore which is sad.
But what about you guys though what see your favorite holidays and seasons?
