isn't the Tesla coil both a generator and attract-or of high voltage arches and stuff which is not ideal under the thousands of strikes... while the cage is specifically to kind of block and shield from discharges, lol...

What I meant was the cage will only save you from a Tesla coil, which is weak. A lightning strike would make you look like a chicken thrown into a fire.

well, here's the thing... about 90% of people who are struck by lightnings, survive... and I feel quite confident to assume that almost none, or none of them were wearing a Faraday cage... lmfao

and so, I like those odds already

however, yes... to survive a lightning strike doesn't mean you do so without some serious injuries and consequences, right? so how about just a big ass cage, one that might shield the whole but rather than us sailors

I think those would increase the odds of the odds already out there... we would just have to withstand the dozens of "side flashes" I think they call it
