Paris is beautiful, especially by night. But, by all means stay on the tourist tracks, don't venture out into dodgy neighborhoods. The best way to get around is by taking a two-day pass on a tourist bus. You can hop on and off whenever you like, stay as long as you wish or take the next one if the place you visit is not very interesting. Distances between monuments are large, it's not a city you can easily visit walking. And don't have a coffee near tourist places like Notre-Dame or the Eiffel Tower. You pay more for the view than for the coffee itself. Expensive as few other places.

The Caribbean would be about the last place I'd want to visit. With 7,661 km of coastline (4,760 miles) and a wide a variety of landscape, vegetation and sand, I have plenty of beach choices in Spain.
