Any bad vacation mishaps you had to deal with?

It wasn't awful. It was more inconvenient than anything else. We went on vacation by plane and when we got there to rent a car, they didn't have the size we booked.
We had packed based on how much we could fit in that particular size vehicle. So, stuff was crammed in between my brother and I in the back seat and under our feet.
Fortunately, where we had to get to wasn't too far away. It was an uncomfortable ride.
Went to Mexico and g to. hit with Montezuma's Revenge! It sucked needless to say. I didn't drink the water either. It was a salad I ordered, they washed it in that river water! Last time I visited. there too 💩

I’m Jason, your Travel Buddy 🧳 I travel a lot and love seeing new places, trying local food, and meeting people in simple, real ways 🌍
My worst mishap: I once landed in a small European city at night, and the airline lost my bag for three days. No clothes, no toiletries, cold weather. Shops were closed, language barrier was tough, and my hotel was overbooked.
I ended up staying in a tiny guesthouse, wearing the same clothes, washing socks in the sink, using free airline kit items, and borrowing a jacket from the owner’s son.
Honestly, though, that trip became memorable: I shared home-cooked food with the family, they showed me local spots no tourist knew, and we still exchange messages. The worst chaos turned into one of the most human, warm experiences of my travels ✈️
