Young man commits suicide 2 years after painful circumcision, when are we gonna place more attention on the genital integrity of men and boys?

A 23 year old man sent an email to his mother in the UK from Canada before commiting suicide because of intense pain from circumcision. He lived there 4 years for his studies. He had a tight foreskin and had believed the doctor lied to him and circumcision was the only option. He had been given steroid cream but no other treatments.

He was in such pain even 2 years after the surgery he could no longer do physical activities let alone have sex. He felt such sharp pains it went all the way into his abdomen. His mother is absolutely shocked her boy is now gone forever. He explained in the email that it was too taboo to talk about, so so he never told his mom he had foreskin problems.

The doctor who performed the botched surgery will not be made a complaint against. How is this ethical in the medical community, how is this legal? How many more boys and men have to have their penises botched and mutilated before its gonna stop?

I mean understandably drs are useless and I agree male mutilating should never exist but to say it was his fault completely is bs. If it hurt that much the ideology of taboo is ridiculous who gets stabbed but doesn’t go to hospital because it would be embarrassing or taboo? No one if it was that bad you’d go to a new dr etc.
The other thing is circumcisions have been done for years and years no one has ever reported pain after it. And I feel like he made up the story because he suffered from depression but it was too taboo for a man to be depressed so instead he went out changing his story.
I’d like to believe it was injustice but things don’t add up. You can cut off foreskin it will heal no nerves are damaged. And i’m very certain there are no nerves connecting the foreskin to the penis and the abdomen.

LOL trust me no one and I mean no one knows that better than me. I went 1.5 years struggling with pain tiredness fatigue and every time they say it was anxiety depression I failed my uni degree because of it. Dr's don't believe me so I one private and guess what I found out? Lead poisoning. I reported so many symptoms and was ignored not only by dr's but by mental health support as well.
Also i've been circumcised and know very well about it I study chemistry and biochemistry far as I know there is nothing logical that proves pain after circumcision from neuroscience pov if you damage a nerve or kill it it's either dead or healing at best possible. A damaged nerve makes pain if the thing that makes pain is damaged how is it still working in overdrive there's no logic to it.

Have you googled skin bridges? Something tells me you didn't. Cricumcsion can also lead to urethral stricture of the meatus. Both hurts without there being any nerve damage. Yet the medical community does not recognize either as an actual problem. These problems are not registered as negative effects of circumcision.

Also I don't think you know what a circumcision is because a urethral stricture of the meatus is making your pee hole narrower something that surgery cannot do if anything it's the opposite on top of that a circumcision does not involve the urethral opening at all just the foreskin so what are you talking about? I think maybe thats why it's not recognised as a medical problem because most people wouldn't consider breaking your arm causes leg pain.

If you take away natural protection the foreskin provides by circumcision the peehole can have urethral stricture because its protection is now gone. Secondly, skin bridges are connections of skin by the shaft of the penis that have attached to the head, which can be a side effect of circumcision. Your argument is saying that if you would cut off your eye lids you wouldn't get dry eyes, yes you would, just like there are numerous negative side effects and complications to circumcision.

Thats not what i'm saying though a stricture is not a dry urethra a stricture is a smaller then normal hole not a dry urethra people have wider holes and don't suffer with dry urethras the penis self lubricates. Also removing foreskin doesn't involve the urethra at all. It's completely untouched during surgery. Do you have forskin? Have you seen a circumcised penis the foresking is not attached to the tip unless yours is in which case see a dr.

I was circumcised never had a bad problem and my penis
works great i think this young man was going through some
trauma that was causing him issues more than foreskin on
his penis i think the doctor who did the circumcision messed
up big time and caused him more problems it drove him to
commit suicide so sad.
