Would you invest and travel to another country to get vaccinated?

Just in case for whatever reason, you can't get vaccinated in your own country and in any case you can in your country, it will take a very long time for that to happen. Or you rather wait in your country as long as it takes but you won't waste money to travel even if you will be vaccinated sooner rather than later.

Im considering traveling to the USA to get vaccinated and travel with my sister and her husband maybe at the end of June if the vaccines are still available there. Beacuse in my country our age group , a group with no risk factors and lets say "healthy", are not even taken into account for our country vaccination public program, but taht does not mean we can't get infected, we still can. In our country healthy teenagers are not allowed yet to get vaccinated either only teenagers with risk factors can.

The same applies for many citizens in our country, they are travelling in groups to the USA to get the shot and at least be safer. In our country citizens who are not part of any vaccination group by the public health system, we either travel to the USA for the shot now or wait until the vaccine comes in the private sector in our city and that is soooo far from happening, maybe until next year the private sector will have their chance to acquire the vaccine for private institutions so the wait is loong in the private sector for many citizens. Of course when it comes tot he private sector, citizens will have to pay for their own vaccine, unlike the vaccination public program that comes for free.

So either is traveling to the USA for free vaccine and you are vaccinated soon and spend money in air travel tickets, hotel and other miscelaneous expenses or wait and wait for a long time in our country for the vaccine but at least you won't spend any money in a trip but you are at risk to get infected before the vaccine comes to the private sector.

There had been talks in our country from the private sector and the Government to get the vaccine probably in 2 months but it will be the Russian vaccine, the Sputnik only for the private sector. But im not sure if i want the Sputnik. Also we have to get the approval first from the FDA so our country`s government decide to buy it for the private sector as it is the only vaccine who is more possible to be used in the private sector. The Pfizer, Aztra Zeneca, I heard they are only sold directly

You could certainly come here to get the vaccine with that's what you want to do. However you should consider being on an airplane might expose you to the virus and you should weigh the possibility of that against the advantages of getting the vaccine sooner in the US.

Many people in my country had already gone and return from the USA already vaccinated and so far they are fine, but of course these people know they have to take the precautions, I know is a risk obvioulsy, but I dont know until when I can be vaccinated in my country, could be even until next year or more

If it's worth it to you then you should do it. Keep in mind you may not be able to get the vaccine here.

Why not i won't be able to get the vaccine? From my country we can log on to a website in teh USA and schedule the appointment before hand,. and the system tell the person which vaccine is available at the place the person chose to go

of course many people in my country are doing taht going to the USA to be vaccinated but in order to go tourists had to be extra extra careful with sanitary precautions as there will be many people at the airports.

That is the reasom many toruists from other countries are tarvelling to be vaccinated in the USA cause in theirhome countries are lacking vaccines for everyone, while in the USA are more than enough

Self isolate social distance until I can invest in my own country for the vaccine then. That makes more sense to me and less selfish

I out my influenza vaccine each year and I dont get a flu at all. Yes probably the covid will stay forever You stil dont get the reason for the vaccine it works the same with the influenza it is not a cure but it can refrain you to be seriously ill and end up in athe hospital. The hospitals need free spaces at ICU for other illnesses not only COVID the reason why the vaccine is importnat so hospitals bed can be free for other pathologies iif it is presented.
