The boy's father did what every father should do in this situation without scrutiny, which was to beat the hell out the pastor that molested his son. I believe parents that beat up people that molested their children should never be arrested for their actions. While I definitely commend the father for protecting his son, the worst part about this whole scenario is how, in another news report regarding this story, the people in the church are more upset about the pastor being assaulted and arrested and mentioned how they would pray for the pastor, but seem to show no concern for the little boy at all.

Not true. Jesus taught forgive people who ask for forgiveness, not to forgive just anybody even though they didn't ask for it.

Okay then we've have different teachings. I'm not an expert on it but that's something interesting to look into. I was taught that you forgive, even ask for forgiveness on the behalf of others (as Jesus did himself) and hopefully that they change their ways or whatever.
