Could be. A lot of what makes something classified is usually not what it is supposedly about but how the information was gathered and such things.

For example, there was a case of USA keeping secret the recipe of invisible ink long after not using it because it was tangentially related to how the spies and informants still worked. In other words, USA was keeping something top secret (if I remember correctly) that you could literally go to a magic hobby shop and buy yourself.

So yes. Releasing UFO videos might be a threat to national security even if the UFOs themselves have literally nothing to do with it. It is a very complicated subject with more technicalities than I am comfortable trying to unravel.
