The idea, sure. The reality? Eh, I'll believe it when it happens. Today is the THIRD TIME it's been delayed; we're STILL being beaten by the Russians in the space race, despite the USSR collapsing three decades ago.

Mars must have turned out to be some idiotic P. R. stunt, I reckon :D
I'm moderately interested in the technological stuff about it.
Otherwise, I find the moon un-cool.

Landing men on the moon was cool the first time. 50 years later I don't see the point. There's nothing on the moon that's worth the expense of making the trip.
