Google is as always, ever more intrusive, and ever more advertising to take over any and every service which could possibly be of use to you. Can we hold your data, can we know and analyze *everything that comes into or out of your home*? Etc, etc, etc.

Hitler did the same thing before declaring war on the world as a whole. Watch.

Wow.. This is stupid on so many levels.

First of all, it would be the "4th reich", as in the successor to the Nazis. If you say "its the next Third Reich" then you are just saying its the successor to the Holy Roman Empire which is hardly insulting at all.

Secondly.. Its a fucking Empire compared to an internet service. They are not even remotely similar. Even if you say "Hitler did the same thing", that means nothing. Hitler did A LOT OF THINGS (and none of it was this). You may as well say "Hitler was a painter so prepare for the artistic uprising where the painters will put everyone else in the gas chambers for laughing at their paintings"

Um, that would be the fourth Reich, no? And no- for all its flaws and failings and outright sins (and that list is longer than you probably know), Google has no track record of committing genocide or annihilating national sovereignty.

Don't get me wrong: it's still evil, it still needs to be stopped and have its practices scourged from the Earth- with fire and acid, if necessary- but there are classes of wickedness they simply don't descend to.

Google is far beyond this reich III. Reason being we chose for google to have this power and we encourage it more and more. We rely too much on it with everything imaginable.
