I don't understand what there is to investigate, really. Unidentified aerial phenomena have been with us since the very beginning, even appearing in medieval artwork, but of course centuries ago the people of the time would have perhaps called them angels or gods. Now we call them 'aliens', and think they're spacecraft, but that's equally absurd, and for reasons too many to go into here in this comment.

Congress should stop wasting its time, effort and money on things like this, and instead focus on fixing their country.

Waste of time and money, if the goverment does know something or has something in their pocession they ain't going to tell the public, because of the scare/ problems it might cause. So all we have left is the word of the whistle blowers and congress people looking for votes.

Mankind would realize that there is beings that can come and go in our airspace , do what they want , like maybe abduct humans if that actually happened, they make our technology look primitive and man cannot do anything about it. As the situation is now it is still a mystery, no hard evidence, we are still quessing, only photos that can be explained away maybe, only testimony from whistle blowers and pilots. When the goverment has to or does produce hard evidence this will all change, man will know then that we no power over beings and a technology that is far advanced, that can come and go as they please and we cannot stop them. Then the fact of making contact with them if it does happen, history shows that the less advanced civilization becomes the victim of the more advanced , think of the American Indians and the Europeans. All this can be a tough reality for man a hard pill to swallow, maybe UFOs are best left as a mystery.
