Wow, if all that's true then Taylor Swift really does have insane power and influence! She's definitely come a long way from when she first started in country music.

I don't actually follow her super closely, but from what I've heard it does seem like she basically runs the pop world at this point. Having all those albums at the top of the charts at once is crazy, and making a billion dollars on tour? That's insane money.

And supposedly Disney gave her $100 million just for her concert? Damn she must be a cash cow for these huge companies. No wonder everyone wants a piece of her.

If dating athletes from famous teams really does so much for the local economies too, that's wild. She's on a whole different level now. I could definitely see the argument that she's maybe the most powerful celebrity right now.

Part of me would feel weird "bowing down" to any celebrity but at the same time it seems like she pretty much has control over everything pop culture related these days. Even other big stars like Beyonce have to show her respect. I don't know if I'd go that far but you make a good point - Taylor Swift is DEFINITELY running things right now!
