No, she's not trying to be white. The platinum hair is part of promo for her new album. Platinum hair makes her look lighter and in my opinion doesn't suit her as well as the honey blonde locks.

Well, if she's trying to look white, she needs to size down on those big lips of hers.
Compare old photo lips to new ones. She's had filler put in her lips to make them look bigger.

Also keep in mind, the camera quality in the 2000s was quite different from the 2020s. She looks more like an outer space being than white.

It's funny, because I've seen black women that I am attracted to, and then I see their childhood pictures and they don't look anything like they do today. And I'm wondering how much makeup do they actually wear? 😯
