This act of aggression is a continuation of U. S. attempts to seize and plunder Venezuela’s natural resources and undermine Venezuela’s sovereignty as well as the sovereignty of other countries in Latin America.

This comes after decades of unilateral coercive measures, including lethal sanctions that killed over 100,000 people, theft of companies like CITGO, and seizure of billions of dollars of sovereign assets.

The accusations of narco-terrorism are less credible than the claims that Saddam had WMDs.

Nearly 70% of Americans oppose another war and reject the endless cycle of military interventions carried out in their name.

And one thing that is never mentioned is Maduro's condemnation of Israel. That is something that Israel will not abide. I suspect that one of the U. S. goals is to install a government that is friendly to Israel. After all, the U. S. government does whatever Israel demands.

This act of military aggression makes me ashamed of Trump.

I have mixed feelings about it. I think on one hand countries should not be meddling with other countries affairs and using their power to push them around, but on the other hand I think it was a good decision by Trump. All the people in Venezuela are currently celebrating.
