I typically wouldn’t care because it’s the reflective pool, business as usual although President Donald Trump did hatch a ‘dementia brain’ move, “I want American Flag Blue for America’s birthday!”
So, of course we knew this would be a failure however we didn’t know how soon the failure would fail.

Now they are dumping harmful chemicals into the water to kill the algae (hydrogen peroxide) which since the pool has holes can allegedly kill the lawn and nature surrounding it also if birds make contact will die as a result, a consequence of President Donald J Trump’s interventions in anything. Basically a higher concentration of those chemicals means more damage to wildlife and grass. It’s an unbelievable mess up. How can one man be this ineffective also to try to take on issues that don’t matter / he didn’t run on is beyond me.

During the 2024 campaign, I kept saying how he cut environmental protections to waterways and anti pollution measures during his first term which he quickly brought back in his second. He never cared about the environment, he never will same with cutting funds of our beautiful National Parks.

This is a failure for the environment, for the taxpayer ($14 million down the nonexistent drain because he promised he’d create it), America’s 250th, and a failure of President Donald J Trump.

Seriously though, it's a shallow pool in full sunlight what do you thinks going to happen? You've either got to poison the water or half fill it with water lilies. I bet someone patrols every morning to remove the animals that died drinking from it.
