At first , I assumed the guy was a complete moron for climbing over the fence in the first place and thought he got what he deserved for being such a moron. But then I found out the guy was autistic and def and it made me think otherwise. Now people are blaming the zoo workers for his actions , which I feel isn’t the zoo ‘s fault whatsoever. Like how in the hell would the zoo workers’ know some guy just randomly climbed a fence. People need to stop pointing fingers over things that there is really no control over. What’s your thoughts on this?

It's interesting that the mainstream news is avoiding mentioning any form of mental health issue. I'm only seeing those claims on social media. I have verbally heard his parents are denying he had problems but I don't know if that is true.
I can't imagine getting into the enclosure is that easy so would have taken some mental effort as well as physical. We've all seen footage of people hugging tigers so I wonder if he just thought that was normal zoo tiger behaviour.
Obviously something is wrong with someone who climbs into the habitat of an apex predator, but that doesn’t excuse them from taking responsibility for their choices. I’m mostly happy that there are no plans to euthanize the tiger.
The Sundarbans forest on the coast of India and Bangladesh is notorious for man eating tigers. They average one death every week. These are people mostly just trying to live their lives being hunted by man eaters. Who cares? Nobody. Most likely because they are poor brown people. Every time some privileged white idiot gets himself killed by circumventing the not-negligible zoo security designed to keep animals and humans separated, it’s a tragedy for the international news though.
I could give a sh*t. If you want to feel bad for someone, send your thoughts and prayers to the people of the Sundarbans.
If fault were to be assigned, it should be with whoever was with him. They should know not to leave him alone where he might do something like this. The zoo can't babysit every visitor personally.
Exactly
I think it’s a really sad situation all around. There should definitely be an investigation into how he was able to get into the enclosure though.
I think it’s a really sad situation all around. I wouldn’t say anyone deserves to die for making a bad decision, regardless of whether they have a disability or not. I also don’t think it’s fair to automatically blame the zoo workers without knowing all the circumstances.
What was shocking was everyone recording rather than helping.
Yea that seems to be the case in a lot of tragedies that occur , which just goes to show a lot of people only truly care about themselves and don’t give a flying fuck about anyone else. It blows my mind on how selfish and stupid people can be with wanting to be the spotlight of a tragedy. I have witnessed it so many times to the point I lost respect for a lot of peopleI I hate selfish people with a passion as you can tell 😂 it reminds me of a time when my friend and I were standing in line with a bunch of people at the amusement park waiting to get on a rollercoaster , and this guy standing in front of us fainted and bashed his head into a guard rail , blood was pouring out of his head and everyone just stood there like a complete moron while my friend and I were yelling for help and for someone to call 911 , people were just standing there like they had no clue what to do , while the guy was laying there dying. So I saw a lady holding a shirt and I ripped it out of her hands and used it to bandage up his head until the ambulance arrived. When the EMTs showed up they thanked me for wrapping up his head , I told the lady I will buy her another shirt and she said not to worry about it and said you did a great thing. I found out the guy was ok and that he was going to make it. Social media definitely played a part on making people lack common sense making people think everything is about them only. This society is so fucked up
@Finchie40 Recently, some 3rd world baboons in France set fire to a fireman & started recording him burning & laughing at him.
That’s insane , people are nuts
obviously, I thought it would have been some sort of mental episode...
that, or a drug that people sometimes take and then again, your mind isn't understanding things as they could be...
Idiot. But wasn't aware that he was attentive autistic and def. New to me.
I would do the same thing for an insta selfie with a Tiger.
nice knowing you man
I heard about it.
Darwin explained it already. There is nothing more to add.
He was medically retarded though.
@Taranis_Thunor That happens. Yes. But 'evolution' has no moral code.
He would've been selected out anyway but gets to be ripped apart by a Tiger ontop of that because someone like that has a naïve worldview. Then you got people always trying to put the blame somewhere.
@Taranis_Thunor - yes. That's what this century is like: discussing 'problems' instead of having foresight and prevent these problems.
I saw that. What a fucking retard. If you're gonna get into a tiger enclosure, at least STAND so you at least have a chance at a quick getaway
so being autistic makes it ok to climb over a fence into the enclosure? that is not an excuse
It doesn’t make it ok , but it a logical reason as to why he did it in the first place. Autistic people don’t think like non autistic people do. They lack common sense in most cases. Why they need to be supervised most of the time. Something that seems dangerous to us might seem innocent to them. He was excited to get a picture with the tiger not realizing it was going to attack his ass. Why he shouldn’t have been at the zoo unsupervised period.
I now the illness well but I didn't know it impaired your common sense that much. I think he was just an idiot.
@Finchie40 You didn't even bother to divide the high functioning autistic smarter then normies even, from the low functioning retards.
Autism is a spectrum. This kat might not have even had a caretaker. If he had a caretaker and they dropped the ball, we’d have word on that by now. IF he was on the spectrum at all, he was most likely high functioning enough to require no supervision and it’s time to stop trying to blame anyone but him.
@Chazmatazz269 Oh yeah because someone with high functioning autism is likely to climb up to a tiger, point and go "NOO BE NICE TO ME TIGER!"
You're using terms you don't understand.
