Am I a bad friend?

No you were not being a bad friend. Sometimes a friend has to make a call. What you did
could've been one of the most important things that has been done for him. I hope that the
principal was able to handle this, by getting to the bottom of this. There could be all kinds of
reasons why your friend said this, and he was scared and irrational. Don't take what he said
to heart. I also hope that there is no abuse at home that he is trying to cover up with this
constant beating he was allowing. If you still have any questions, as did everything turn out

No he's just mad because you told don't worry about it sooner or later he'll thank you about it.You weren't a bad friend at all don't worry about him so much just be thankful that you put a stop to it,

I don't think you're a bad friend for what you did. Your friend was probably afraid of what those kids might do if they found out, but letting the problem continue only allows it to get worse. You had his best interests in mind. Right now, he might be mad at you for what you did, but I think he'll feel differently in the future.

No. WOuld you rather him be your friend and constantly getting bullied? Or would you rather him be mad at you,but not be bullied? He is mad at you for being a good friend. Eventually I think he will come around and realize you did a great service to him. If he wasn;t going to stand up for himself, someone had to. Don't let him get to you, just know you did the right thing. You can sit him down and say "I am sorry you think I am a bad friend. But each day that passes that you aren't being bullied, think about me." That will get him thinking. But you did the right thing.
