Do you all believe we get second chances in this world or even so many? That we don't take advantage of it.I was talking to my friend about it because there are so many things I didn't take advantage of when I had the chance. She says that god gives us chances but I think it's like if you had it you won't be able to get it again. She says its just a matter of having faith in god and he'll grant you so and so because he takes notice of how bad you want something. Now she's a pastor kid and knows more about this than me. Few months ago I just really go into getting knowing more about my religion and loving god more than ever before.
She's living in a fantasy world. I was raised Catholic, I went to Catechism, and I went to church for all my childhood. During this time I'd undergone such horrible experiences, such utter, sheer pain, and when I looked up into the night sky and cried for help,
all I heard all I saw and all I felt
was darkness
I've seen all types of people get second chances, but it seems like the ones who need them the most are often neglected, and the ones who don't deserve or abuse the second chances, keep getting them.
Too many people mistake faith for luck.
All I'm saying is this: If god does exist, the Christian god, then he isn't consistent, and he doesn't dole out second chances and sympathy according to deeds and faith, he does it randomly, or worse.
