What is a goth girl?
It is stereotyped as eerie, mysterious, complex and exotic. A dark, sometimes morbid fashion and style of dress, typical gothic fashion includes colored black hair and black period-styled clothing. Both male and female goths can wear dark eyeliner and dark fingernail polish, most especially black.

If possible please do not comment on my glasses. I know they look weird on me but I can't live without them.

Im wondering if I appear gothic to others because I've been getting a lot of commentary, especially online, about being so. Like, I'll get guys who message me certain things, and I don't really pay attention to labeling myself or describing myself but now I'm wondering how I appear to others. I've got dyed black hair, cut into a short flapper like bob/long shaggy pixie. I always wear winged eyeliner, shadow, pale skin, reddish lips. I listen to punk/post punk/gothic artists of the 80's and 90's and share such songs on Facebook. I have and love my cats. I usually dress in all black and with my black boots. I have long pointed fingernails. I like to take pictures of destructed places, woods, and probably creepier stuff. I love photography and film and especially of the horror genre. I also love gothic pinup style, with latex and leather clothing. But I also love non-gothic stuff as well, so I don't know. Do I give off a gothic vibe if I'm as I how i described?

I never have considered myself goth and I don't like being classified under one title, but I notice others call me that or they call me dark and I guess I never viewed what I'm into as dark. I tend to wear black for the most part. I like more pin up-styled clothing, mixed with tattered like clothing. I enjoy eccentric makeup, heavy eyeliner with wings and lines and playful shadows. Red lipstick sometimes. Pale skin. I listen to "gothic" music but I also listen to every other genre as well. I just prefer more punk and rock and gothic stuff of the 70's-90's. Really I love black everything. I love reading. I'm attracted to broken destructed things (like abandoned homes or barns, burnt fields, trashy places, etc) and I have a bit of a morbid or dry humor. Oh, and I LOVE horror movies. Especially earlier ones. I love film in general, but horrors and experimentals are my loves. I like spooky things in general, I guess if you want to call them dark then they would be too.
