Search Results: hate or indifference

For the longest time, I’ve hated the opposite gender due to them treating me like a satanic monster (albeit with no provocation most of the time). That being said, I did not intend to make peace and fought back, to be metaphorical.

However, nobody has been winning the fight. After nearly 30 years of this nonsense, I’ve decided enough is enough.

So, what do you say, ladies? Do you want to stop being enemies and at least reach a point of indifference?

Cause when you hate you still care somewhat whereas when you are indifferent you don’t.

I’ve had both of them happen to me in my life.

Honestly I found the callous indifference much more horrible and long lasting. It felt like I was not only (understandably) cut off from the future but any memory she had of our time together was disavowed as well. No matter if the memory was positive or negative.

I understood why she wanted to break up (I acted immature and douchey at the time). However it is the feeling of being treated like I was less than human despite the fact I didn’t do anything fundamentally wrong e. g. cheating, abuse, etc.

I am not talking about “hating” your ex. I’m talking about complete indifference. Like they never existed.
