The opposite of love is indifference not hate. Agree or disagree?

Cause when you hate you still care somewhat whereas when you are indifferent you don’t.

Love: an intense feeling of deep affection (someone).

Hate: feel intense or passionate dislike for (someone)

Indifference: having no particular interest or sympathy; unconcerned.

By definition Love and hate are at opposite ends of the spectrum, everything else is in-between, except indifference. Love and hate involve having deep and passionate feelings, and indifference is having no feelings or sympathy or empathy.

Love is a strong emotion. Hate is a strong emotion. Indifference is simply acting dead inside. Love-Hate for me.

I’ve heard that said before, but I disagree. A person that you’re currently indifferent to, it’s more possible for that indifference to turn into love than for active hatred to turn into love.
