For me I miss certain aspects of my ex's... the memories that we shared... they are part of your life and make up who you are now.

I think people tend to dwell on the negative parts when they break-up... I guess that's normal, to put that relationship to rest, especially if your the one being dumped.

I like to look at it from both ways... you potentially had many years of your life with that person and you did learn from that relationship, what you like and did not like about that person. You obtained valuable information that you can use in your next relationship! So being dumped or dumping someone is not entirely bad news! There is always the flipside of the coin that a lot of people don't tend to look at!

I have always missed when i was the dumpee. When i was the dumper, not at all. Never regretted a decision. That stuff happens in movies to help dumpees feel better and to economise on thei weakness. Its rare for movie style situations to take form in real life. People basically move on, come back to an ex because its easier

Not really because there is a reason why you left them. Why miss them if you broke up? Sounds childish to me. Just know it's over and you're on to better things in life :)
