I met this guy a few months ago and we became good friends. It seemed like he liked me because he was always staring andt teasing, so much that all my friends thought there was something going on. Apparently i was not showing enough interest so he asked one of my friends out. Even if i was bothered by it i said nothing and continued to be friends with him. He never actually went out with her though. Now recently he started to say this really nice things to me. He asked me out and yes i am guilty i did not reply to him, but just because i am super shy and i am useless when it comes to guys. He said things like if i had a girl like you id stop looking for anything else, or that he asked my friend out because he never thought id go out with him. Now i gathered courage and decided to talk to him but he went ahead and asked me quite bluntly to tell him whether i liked him or not, once again i clamp up and couldnt say a word but stuck around to have a chance to talk to him. when i did he told me to forget it and that some things were better left unsaid and that in any case everything was a joke that he didn't mean any of the things he said. Of course we got into a major fight and i left without saying goodbye. Now this is not your regular douche, he is a nice guy, and i can't believe what he is saying just because every time he sees me he gets so nervous and blushes, and i dont think those are things that you can fake, can you? Is this all my fault? Is he trying to get back at me for not showing interest? Should i try to contact him again? Should i give him time? Or is this absolutely over... please help!
