Is he trying to get a reaction out of me?

Been talking to this guy for a couple months now and every now and then he goes ghost. I'm not the type of chick who's gonna blow up his phone and try to get his attention. Ex: I'll send him a text and when he won't reply until like 2 days after. Sometimes even 5. I don't blow up his phone or ask him why he's not responding. He ignores me, I ignore him.

When he finally decides to text me he ask me if I miss him. This leads me to think he's purposely ignoring me to get a reaction out of me hoping that by ignoring me will make me fall in love or some shit.

Do some of you guys do this?

normal sane guys don't stretch and elastic till it breaks just to see if it snaps back in place

this is not a normal behavior
this is coming as kind of narcissistic
and you are doing great by not feeding into his ego

just as a precautionary measure dont invest too much into this guy until you are a100% sure about him

When it comes to a girl I really like maybe. It's kinda annoying to do that because you can't just assume that the person takes the hint and that you want them to miss them. Also maybe he might just be really busy from work and other stuff. I know I tend to forget to respond people from time to time

Yes. Often because other guys give them this advice. I think it can be effective- I mean, you took notice of it enough to ask this.

He might be going a little overboard. So call him out on it. If he is he may well feel embarrassed and stop

Only time I ever did that I warned her in advance that I'd be working 18 hour days in some remote location. And I didn't ask if she missed me.

Not a good boyfriend if he gets off on playing with your emotions, in my opinion.

No, I think it's a dick move. He should stop playing games and be honest. In my opinion.
