She thinks I'm a pushover so how do I change that?

Ive kinda messed up with this girl I'm talking too and really like. She said she liked me but if I tried pushing her on it she would get defensive. The thing is I think I made the mistake of letting her know I do like her a lot and I know when girls pick up on that they lose interest. She already accused me of being crazy for her,and I told her I just liked her that I wouldn't say I was crazy about her. Were talking a lot less than we were. so I just wanna know some good damage control so she doesn't think I'm a pushover. or is it too late?

Punch her in the FACE!.. loll no don't do that.. People can take advantage of you no matter if you like them or not.. so its not just about this girl.. In general, a good way to stand up for yourself is to not take anything too literally or personally.. And don't do sh*t for people just to be "nice".. because that can get tiring to them.. and they will use you.. Example.. if a girl hugs you, don't think "oh I think she might like me".. NO!.. its just a hug.. don't assume anything.. You have to think more like "oh ok.. a hug.. " and move on.. because I've seen many guys do useless and time-consuming sh*t for other girls because she looked at them with a smile or something stupid like that..

Guys assume a look or smile or touch on the hand is a huge thing and they end up running errands for the girl and telling her they like her like you did.. And what happens? You know.. you get pushed over all the time.. Talking a lot less than normal is good in your situation.. Now, just let it go.. If she asks you to do something for her, you don't have to!.. Your not obligated.. she's not having sex with you on the regular right? She's not giving you emotional stability.. She's not saying "I love you too".. She's not spending time with you for the sake of it.. so why would you do anything for her ? Like you said.. she backs off when you like her.. so its obvious she's not into you.. You gotta toughen up a little bit.. because the reality of it is.. most of the time, (not always), people use you for their own selfish reasons.. so don't give in to it.

good damage control:

get a friend (preferably female) to call you when you are in the room with the girl you like and get your friend to pretend that they are a girl who really wants you. If a girl see that you a desired by other women, she will think twice before blowing her chances with you and let another girl get you first. My friends and I use that technique to show the girl how desired we are by other girls.

But you are right, never tell a girl that you like her. Even if she likes you back, you just gave her all the power. If she feels that you are less powerful then her she will start to lose attraction.

Youve seen the girls on this site. They all want the guy to say he likes her. But its always the guy who isn't saying he likes her directly or confusing her with mixed signals who they go crazy about.

stand up for yourself. yes, girls like attention. but girls also like a guy that won't let them walk all over you. if you don't agree with something she says, tell her. she'll respect your opinon and respect you even more for speaking up.

damage control: apologize, but only once. if you keep bothering her about it, she'll still think you're a push over. if you only do it once, she'll realize that you aren't gonna waste your time on her and that maybe you aren't a pushover.

Don't shower her with attention. Give her a little more breathing space, but don't be completely detached from her. Don't always harp on the subject of your feelings, she'll try avoiding conversations with you altogether. Best wishes!
