Why does my ex boyfriend act like a concieted manwhore after breakup when he was never like that at first?

My ex was really sweet and respectful while we were together and its like now he's acting like a manwhore, touching girls innapropriately all the time in front of me, acting concieted, even my friends have noticed... has this ever happened to you or anyone you know and do you know why?

We've been broken up for about 5 months but we haven't seen eachother since everyone at work told me he turned into a manwhore, i didn't believe it until i witnessed it today, he was touching girls butts and flirting with them and hugging all over all of them and acting like he was all that, when i first met him he was shy and sweet now he's an asshole..

Some guys have to do that in order to soothe a hurt self-esteem. I've never experienced it personally but I've seen it happen A LOT seeing as I have brothers and a chit ton of cousins + I had more dudes in my life than any teenage girl should ever have. -_- There are a lot of guys who won't deal with the emotional pain and disappointment immediately. Instead, they'll try to burry their sorrows in some other woman's titties. It's a product of the whole 'fake it till you make it' theory.

Love is a drug. When you go into withdrawal, you can do some fucked up things. I think he's trying to avoid how he feels, whether that feeling may be "I dun fucked up, now she's gone :'(" or "I'm gonna show that biatch.. ha ha." But either way, he's not really being real with himself.. but don't worry, he's gonna crack at some point.

Bitterness. He is masking his anger and pain by acting in the extreme opposite way to convince everyone that he is fine with the break up and he has moved on. Unfortunately, some people are immature and they immediately forget that they used to love that person and start acting like jerks to make them feel jealous, insecure, or angry. He is clearly succeeding at this, but you should just act maturely and ignore his actions and try to move on.
