Sleeping with my ex to protect his secret, what do I do?

There was this school lock in, and I kinda had to sleep with my ex, cuz he's afraid of being alone and sleeping in the same room with a bunch of people and generally has the fear of being exposed due to old trauma. We had slept in an empty classroom alone, a few people saw us and now they're all like making claims about what had happened that night, even though nothing actually happened. The problem is there's this other boy that really likes me and I kinda like him back, hearing of what happened made him feel like I'm not interested. If I choose to expose the reason why I had to sleep with my ex, I wouldn't be able to live with myself, but on the other hand there's this other guy that's like ready to do anything for me. I don't know what to do.

You can tell the new guy that either you're gonna believe me or not... and move on. But at the same time... you cannot continue doing risky stuff like that with your ex. Its not a good look to anyone. In my opinion, if your ex had that issue. They should've have participated in the lock-in. Also, you still shouldn't feel burdened to HAVE to "take care" of your ex. It's awesome that you still care. But they need to figure out how to cope with their trauma. Because you will never truly move on if you keep coming to "the rescue" for their traumas. And if guys keep seeing you with him the way you were at the lock-in... I wouldn't believe you either.

Here is an idea. Don’t do it. His fears are not your problem. Exactly what do you mean you are sleeping at a school anyhow? University?

Why in a classroom? So much of this doesn’t make sense. However, you are not obligated to sleep with him. He is an ex.
