“I wanna still see you eat, but not at my table“ — he wants you to be happy, but he won’t be with you.

It’s best if you move on from this guy. He has made it pretty clear that he wants to end the relationship.

In my opinion he seems to think you are still hung up on him. He is stating he doesn't hate you and wishes you well but doesn't want to be involved with you anymore.

yeah like he told me that he wasn’t switching numbers his whole life and I don't know what that meant! Bc I had asked him if he would still keep me in his heart!!

Perhaps he meant he wasn't changing his phone number after breaking up with people which I guess some people do to avoid their ex contacting them. But his responses seem a bit toxic, I would just cut off contact and move on.
