why is ex being this way

we have been broken up for a month. he's depressed and stressed.

sex stopped for 2 months and he stopped coming over as he claimed he was chilling with me so much he's not where he wants to be in life and hates his work and his life etc

it seemed he was putting me on the side a bit to be honest he would mostly work and go out with friends and see me whenever he wanted to

he's the one who decided to call it off but i brought it to his attention.

after we broke up he called me to wish me luck at work called me bc i got injured.

he has said many times he does not want any relationship at the moment

i told him to stop but i took it back. and he would comment on my instagram stories to the point where he called me pretty girl.

i called him and asked whats up and he just says he's messing around and that i should move on.

took that seriously. he kept commenting on my stuff and i would reply normally.

he called me on what was suppose to be our anniversar

then he said it was wrong # then texted saying he wishes i never met him.

then he deleted it and then he texts we should meet so we meet!

nothing bad happens i tell him about work and how i get paid more then him actually.

he even asks if i could let him in the job. ( we are both architecture students)

i rant about my roommates

he goes off about how he hates this country and also how i may be super miserable in masters and be on the couch and drink all the time like him

i reply “no not at all. i know how to balance myself well”

then i call him two days later and just vent away. im sad and he's like “meeting u again made me realize we fight over the stupidest things and im not used to that and we are just two different people we can't be together”

i tell him

“i have done so much and u threw me away”

and he's like “yeah we can't be friends is that what u think? i have done nothing?”

i tell him that all i wanted was to sleep next to him bc he made me feel safe but he just s

I think you answered your own question.

'He is depressed'

That will make someone do and say things that don't make sense, which is driving you crazy. You need to have patience with him and wait it out until he is feeling better is all.

yeah apperently he’s depressed and on antidepressants. he wanted me as a friend as he says im important to him but now im afraid he hates me. in the call he said he didn't hate me but after when we were texting it turned a little bit mean and he said i made him feel horrible etc. i dunno.

You will not be happy with what he says or does when he is in a state of depression and especially when on medication and that type of medication's side effects is also suicidal tenancies... I am not kidding!

thank you gosh. i will see him in the fall as we have class together.

he does lack motivation but he also is pushing himself a lot. he works a 9-5 then goes home and works on his projects in india while he's in the US so he's up at weird hours of the morning like 5 am 2 am etc.

he didn't get the job he wanted etc and says that he feels like he was chilling with me he didn't focus enough on what he wanted. he got a 4.0 everything so i guess he's just pushing himself a lot i duno
