Me and by ex have been broken up for a while now and we share a child together. Up in to this point I thought we were on good terms. We have a lot of mutual friends and one of those friends told me she's been talking to everyone about how "she is so glad to be away from someone she wasn't attracted to" and "she's glad she ended it" why would she be saying this when in the relationship she said the opposite.
She hasn’t said anything about you being ugly. She said she wasn’t attracted to you. She was in the beginning, but she feels differently now, which is why you’ve parted ways.
There is nothing worse than being with someone you are no longer attracted to. At least you are both on good terms. Better that, than staying together and making each other even more unhappy and becoming bitter.
As hurtful as the comments might be, they are unimportant, as you aren’t together. Suck it up and move on.
