The 1st date with this guy (who was already a friend) was great, it went 4 hours and he even asked what I thought of taking this seriously.

He arranged the 2nd date, but seemed distant this time and at the end of it he tells me that he was interested in another girl and since he realised he has a chance with her, he's gonna dump me. How does this sound?

This is the fastest breakup I've ever seen. Don't take it personally, what happened is enough to know what type or the quality of that guy. You may wonder what you did wrong, or feel you weren’t enough, just remember, it’s never about you. Your value isn't on that date or with that guy, just remember that you're much better than that.

I mean, that sucks but just be glad he did this on the second date instead of 2 years into the relationship. You don't want to be someone's second choice.
