You know an ex actually said something similar. She was getting out of major depression around the time we started talking again. I'd say I got her during her best time, like euphoria period even if she was living with anxiety. It was only until she fell deep into depression again that we had to break up. It's no one's fault though. Life can be crude sometimes.
