I have no idea what I want to say to my ex?

We broke up a few days over him asking for an open relationship because he’s having issues controlling his sexual urges. We live six hours away from each other but he never acts on those urges. He feels guilty having them and it hurts knowing we got together only to break up weeks later. I’ve told him how much it hurts via text these past few days and I figured I’m ready to actually call him but I have no idea what to say. I would like to try and make things work instead of throwing away all this time we’ve had together.

He obviously is trying to have hi cake (you) and eat another piece too. I doubt he had any intention of maintaining a serious relationship with you post your shared intimacy. It seems like to me that you would be best served to exit this relationship. Block... Block... and Block again...

you've only been together for a few weeks? you are not throwing away any time lol. do NOT try to make things work. he lives pretty far away. and he'll cheat on you eventually. open relationship, when you don't even seem comfortable with that, means that he's asking for permission to cheat and for you to sit there on the sidelines hurt and upset because i don't think you want an open relationship.
