U need to put more detail on ur q cuz every socmed has their way to send a friend req, according on ur comment, he sent u a friend req on discard which is we need to insert some code..

By this case we knew this is clearly not a mistake.
Either he missed u and wanted to talk w u, but then he cancelled it.. or he want to get ur attention..

I mean think about it, how does one randomly send a wrong friend request? He must of been on your profile in the first place which means he is missing you.

Maybe. It was on discord and to send a request you have to insert the user and code

Yeah I don't see how you would do that by accident. Unless he's saying there is another person with the exact same name and he just messed up the code which yea I wouldn't really believe that.
