There are parts of the person that are postive and left in one's memory as there are negative ones. It is likely that you gave her lots of attention and she is craving that. If she was serious about relationship in any form then she would have contacted you. She is seeking your attention whether it be digital or in person.
Do not be an needy and insecure sucker. You date and she finds out then she will change her tune. I missed something if people are dating him... all the good in you will be magnified... Basically, man-up and grow a backbone.
Sometimes quotes and things just stick with us and it has nothing to do with the ex. I remember mine had told me something super interesting when we dated back in 2016, and to this day I still incorporate it into my thought process but I have never related it to missing him. So my advice to you is don’t like into it and move on. No more searching up her social media to keep tabs. She made it VERY clear that she’s done, so don’t search for and excuse to reach out.
