Is it possible to die of a broken heart?

has anyone else ever felt close of dying of a broken heart because of how much pain you felt?

Yes, it is a condition called "broken heart syndrome". It happens more often than you would think but it is usually older people. However, young people have died suddenly.

I saw a sad story about a woman's husband that was in a coma for 2 weeks following a car accident. She was at his bed side, with her two children, when they pulled the plug. When he finally died, she put her arms around him and collapsed. She was dead before she hit the ground. As sad as I felt for her pain, I remember her son saying, "I can't even begin to describe the pain of losing both parents in a matter of minutes". Neither can I.

its so sad and many people probably die unexpectedly when they get cheated on or ghosted and no one knows why. basically a good percentage of the world population has probably killed someone without knowing it.

Well I will say I don't know about dying but some people get depressed or commit suicide or there heart just physically dies from pain and they can never date again bc of how much pain it went through

since this man called the police on me three years ago a couple of men have ask me out but i turned them down and i havnt bothered to look for anyone. even going out just meeting friends is hard right now. i deleted my fb and dumbed all my friends even the ones i knew from school.

I'd say yes, because i know someone who committed suicide after they had their heart broken.

yet people dump , reject and ghost without a second though. people are so cruel. it reminds me of this french story"la rampailleuse" about this woman who fell in love with a rich young man. she loved him all her life from a distance and saved all her money so that he would inherit it one day. she cried when she found out he got married she wasn't invited to the wedding. she was invisible to him. one day she died and left all her savings to the man. and all he said was "if i had known this woman loved me i would have gotten her locked up in an asylum". this story is so accurate people are so cruel.

That's such a sad story. 💔There's many similar sad stories. There seems to be more callous and cruel people around.

What I'd give to have a man who loved me like that. I'd never take his love for granted.

Nope. You might have stress induced complications caused by a broken heart. But to actually die of one? No.
