How do I take that he went to text her again after accusing me of being delusional?

Okay... me and my coworker were together for 8 months, but the last 3 of them were a constant surveillance activity by me, cause I caught him texting with another coworker (he claimed to be his friend). What bothered me mostly is that he would prefer talking to her instead of me and I was very often put on seen or delivered while he was actively chatting with her.

Anyway... we broke up 3 months ago bc of that and bc I recorded him talking trash about me. I kept asking about the nature of their relationship, cause I wanted to finally know the truth. He kept denying.

I left my job a month an a half ago and he started reaching out, he called me for dates...(lunch dates actually)... stopped texting her, etc.

The problem is I was really thinking of whether or not I should go back. I was taking it slowly. Really thought that he could have changed. Rold him that this time he should be the one to call, text and generally pursue. He did that, but the last few days... promised to call or text after he got home. But he didn't. I was waiting for his message.

On Wednesday he texted me to come and see him. And I did. But I acted cold and distant. Made comments about him texting other chicks , since he doesn't bother to even send a simple "I know I promised to talk, but I'm tired".

Anyway... he started blaming me and saying "oh you still think I'm texting with other women". He said he is going to punish me and not talk to me. I simply wanted consistency.

Yesterday I messaged him "are you still upset at me?" ... he said "no", then can I come to see you. He said "let's see, I will text you'. He did not.

Now I'm seeing him texting with the same chick again... what should I do?

Alright dang, your situation sound hella complicated man. But like from what I can tell it just doesn't seem like this dude is really over that other chick yet. Even if he says he is.

I mean constantly accusing you of stuff, blowing you off, and then goin right back to textin her? That's super disrespectful. You deserve way better than that, ya know? Dudes gonna keep playing games if you let him.

Honestly if it was me I'd just cut him off for good. Block him on everything so he can't flip the switch on you when he feels like it. You don't need that stress in your life. I know it's prolly hard to fully let go since you had feelings, but long run it'll be better for you.

Plenty more fish in the sea and all that. Don't waste your time on some dude that can't even be loyal or consistent, ya feel me? You'll find someone way better who treats you with respect. Just my two cents anyways, but do whatcha gotta do. Hope things work out!
