What's the craziest break up you've ever seen?

So many years ago, I briefly worked in a mall. There was this woman, very nice, friendly and a bit of a pushover, who worked (and still works) as a receptionist for a real estate company. She was dating/hooking up with the barista of the coffee shop on the same floor, until he dumped her for another girl.

I wasn't there that day, she walked over the coffee shop and asked for a cold cream coffee. The guy was a bit awkward, but he still served her. When she got her order, she promptly threw it in his face and walked out. No action was taken because the barista sort of thought he deserved it for the way he dumped her.

She got drunk, hurt herself, called police and reported me for domestic violence. They believed her - of course, because she is the female - and I was arrested. I was released the next day, on the condition that I have no contact with her. She was living in my house so I couldn't return to my own home. I started proceedings to get her evicted but this was the first year of covid, so it took about three months to get her out. When I finally returned home, she had taken 95% of the contents of the home. I called the police to report the theft but they told me, "Sorry, but we don't get involved in domestic situations." If I had had a gun in my hand, I would have shot the cop who actually said that to me.

It took me about three months to get the domestic violence charge dropped and I actually got an apology from the judge assigned to the case.

Being that the domestic charges were dropped did you file new charges for her stealing your stuff?

@Static_In_The_Attic No, they told me that the criminal charges didn't matter; they would not get involved. Within a month of moving away from my home, I suspect that she either abandoned my possessions or sold them. If I sued her, I could get a judgment against her for maybe $20,000 but she was homeless, owned a 15 year old Honda Civic, and didn't have a job. I would have never collected any money from her, and a law suit would have been a waste of time.

Karma kicked her in the ass because she had a home & a relationship & being that she did what she did she ended up homeless.

@Static_In_The_Attic About six months later, I got a called from the police. They had found her unconscious in a cheap, seedy hotel known for prostitution. I was still listed as her ICE in her phone. I know that she survived that because several months later, my brother saw her working as a clerk in a convenience store where he stopped to put gas in his car.

I had a friend that lived in a little town on the NY / Canadian border. We were in a bar having some beers. We were sitting in a booth. I was just soaking up the atmosphere when my friend points to a guy and a girl and another booth. He tells me to watch this.
A woman walked across the bar and stood at the booth and started yelling at the guy. She takes one of her shoes off and hits him in the head with it and walks out/ /
The guy is bleeding by now and the girl was screaming. It turns out the girl that hit him was his girlfriend. Ny friend knew all of them

There was a guy at my high school who wanted to be single for the summer, so on at the end of the day as we were getting out for the summer break, he yelled down the hallway at his girlfriend, “Hey you! It’s over!” That was a crazy and very insensitive breakup!

It was at my HS For an alleged "promposal". The two guys she was with both asked her to meet in lobby and had signs that said "Enjoy prom alone skank" (which they got in trouble for) and she flipped and cried her way out the lobby. She found a new date by the end of the week. The guys didn't. HS can be rough!!

This couple at a bus stop, I heard yelling as I was about to make the turn, it was a quiet neighborhood at night, I stood by the corner so they thought they were alone. The guy snaps and yells "I'M SICK OF THIS, WE'RE DONE!!!" And he takes off his belt, I thought he was gonna beat her with it but it turned out to be much worse. He pulled down his pants, grabbed her by the hair and she tried to escape but to no avail. He wiped his ass wipe her face, her screams became muffled. I heard a series of loud farts. I would've jumped in to help her but it was way too smelly over there. She suffocated but was ok, I decided to walk home.

2 guys I grew up with killed themselves. One got cheated on right after they had a kid. The other one killed himself after his fiancee broke up with him.
