Tell him sorry but it's never going to work and tell him you don't want to but if you have to you're going to get a restraining order there's no reason to be going through this and there's no reason for him to be treating you this way if he loves you if he truly loves you he'll let you free

I have told him that, I tried to be gentle but that only seemed to encourage him more. I’ve decided to just block and ghost him, hopefully he’ll get the message

I don’t wish this on anyone tbh, it can ruin your future relationships… The breakup was mutual and amicable so I don’t understand why they won’t stop chasing

Yep. When one doesn't accept the denial of dialogue after you bad history with them it becomes harassment. Repeated harassment in several ways is stalking. Doesn't matter if he is your ex boyfriend or your wanna-be Boyfriend. Stalking is a crime and can seriously influence a victims mental health. Stalking is unfortunately not a rare thing, I have many friends that had to experience it already and they are mostly under the age of 25.

Yes mention restraining order and fall out tell them everything they are doing will never ever make you get back to them. If anything it is making you dislike them (or even more)
