My ex is hitting me up more than usual and I'm talking to this new guy which I find weird timing. I used to hit him up a lot and I stopped so maybe that's why he feels the change within me. Like I don't care anymore. I've had enough of him. I just can't seem to block him because we've been friends for so long.

A lot of times exes do come back because they are curious and i do hear that its usually when you've finally moved on a lot of times. he could probably tell by how you talk to him that something is different but beyond that unless you tell him he wouldn't have proof.

Well I don't know if this is true or not but this is usually what happens when your boyfriend girlfriend breaks up with you it's usually because they found somebody else
they start hanging out with that somebody else
And that somebody else gets to know them a little bit and they decide that they don't really want to have a relationship with them

So what's the first thing they do they start calling their EX because he or she liked them before they did whatever they did so they're going to try to go back.. .
And this is when you need to really love yourself say wait a minute I already did that with this person.
They broke up with me for this reason they got together with somebody for whatever reason..
And now they're not
And they want to come back to me sorry no

I don't know personally I find the whole I don't want to be with you but I still kinda care what you're doing with your life thing so disturbing. To me it should be like either you're together as a couple, or you're friends or you're nothing at all and you just move on with your lives in different directions. It should be like a light switch either it's on or it's off.

All these people who are constantly anywhere but in those 3 locations it's crazy. I don't want any part of it and I think it's sick, toxic whatever you wanna call it.

It just says to me you can't be honest with yourself about what you want or maybe you don't even have the capability to figure out what you really want. And so you can't be honest with other people about it either. So you're constantly trying to fulfill your needs and desires without being open about it, trying to manipulate people. Who actually wants to live like that? I don't.

It's crazy because we live in a time where mental health is more openly talked about and more help is available than ever before but somehow some people still manage to go backwards instead of forwards.

with my ex... it was a mutual decision so, we all also had about a couple of months to "dephase" from our relationship, sort of speak... we were both on the same page, and we both carried on, for the best...

we still talk from time to time, we actually talked last night and today, just to catch up and make sure things are great here and there and all that... friendly, but that's it, no drama

That's great that you are cordial with each other. That's how me and my ex are but he's being extra nice to me right now and doing more than a friend usually does which is concerning. I don't want him to think that he can come back in whenever he feels like it. Not when I've completely healed and moved on from him.
