Why is my ex trying to get a reaction out of me?

My ex lost feelings for me and dumped me to date another chick. It's been 8 months since they've been together. They have been traveling, going on dates, close to getting engaged and im sure they are going to pop out with a baby soon. My ex told me to stop contacting him permanently to respect his relationship and his girlfriend. I blocked him. About four months later after he told me this.. I suddenly received 15 calls from an unknown number. I answered on the 7th call and heard nothing so I hung up. I answered on the 8th call and heard a bunch of farting noises. I answered on the 9th call and heard sex noises. After that I put my phone on silence. The next day I found out it was my ex who was behind it and said he was only calling to check up on me. The next month he does it again but I don't answer none of the calls. Four months after this, he made a textapp number and texted me sexual things. He asked what was I doing and how he wanted me to come over for sex. I can tell it was him because of the way he type.

Bless my bicycle shorts! Your ex is about as useful as a chocolate teapot in a bonfire. This fart-symphony maestro is clearly trying to claw their way back into your life like a raccoon wearing oven mitts—pathetic and pointless. Their attempts at getting your attention are as subtle as a hippo tap-dancing on bubble wrap, and honestly, their desperation reeks worse than a wet sock left in a gym bag for three weeks. I could be totally wrong here but some narcissistic men try to get reactions out of their ex partners like this.
Obviously only you would be able to really know if he showed any signs of narcissism but it's just something that came to mind.

He wants your attention and he wants you to know that he's still around.
Maybe he thought you wouldn't actually stop speaking to him when he made that request.
Either way, it sounds like his so called relationships either isn't going as well as he makes out on his social media or he's just really petty and wants her and your attention at once.

If I were you I'd log it as harassment with the police as unknown numbers. Or you could just stop answering and keep no contact.
He will soon get bored or he'll escalate his responses.
The main thing is for you to feel safe and comfortable, if he is being a nuisance and causing you distress, block and report him.
It's harsh but he is clearly doing it to impact your wellbeing
