I broke up my best friend’s marriage. Her husband and I had an affair. It was bad that she had to find out from other people because I couldn’t face her with the truth. I regret it, but life moves on.
636 opinions shared on Break Up & Divorce topic. Oh yes , why attraction and chemistry and connection can be a crazy thing and an amazing thing as well. Their were times I didn’t know I was breaking up a relationship , and a few times I knew I was , I felt somewhat bad , because I put myself in their partners’ shoes and thought how I would feel if my partner was cheating on me or leaving me for someone else , , but the truth is , I didn’t regret it , because the attraction and connection I shared with her was amazing , I was very attracted to her and loved every second I was with her , so I know I am not the main reason her relationship ended , she was clearly already unhappy in her marriage or relationship , because if she wasn’t , she wouldn’t be investing her time into me. There is only one that I kind of regret doing , because I kind of knew her husband , he was a friend of my brothers’ but not a close friend , I ran into his wife , which I kind of knew for a long time , before she was even married to this guy , and I always had a crush on her, when I found out she married this guy , I was shocked thinking how the hell did he land her , because she is a knock out and he looked like Screech from Saved by the bell lol. Well I ended up running into her at a music store and the second we saw each other , we were excited to see each other , because it’s been awhile since we last saw each other , so we ended up chatting and talking about our lives , she looked gorgeous as always , and I said I heard you are married now , and she rolled her eyes , which I took it as she wasn’t happy about it , I laughed and said what’s wrong? She said she doesn’t know what she was thinking when she said yes to marrying him , I laughed again and said I was a little shocked that you ended up with him to be honest. But I also complimented him as well , and said he was a nice guy , she said he is , but he really isn’t her type , I laughed and said why did you marry him then? She said because he was nice to her and was there for her when her brother passed away. Basically implying she was nt in the right mindset , but I said I hope things work out for the both of you , we also talked about things we liked and realized we liked a lot of the same things , she also asked if I was seeing anyone and I said not at this time. She then asked me if I was on Facebook and I said yes , she said I will send you a friend request , so she did and i accepted her request and her and I started talking more , every time we talked , I realized her and I had so much in common and that her and I liked a lot of the same things , I knew she was married so I tried not to cross over any lines , but she didn’t make it easy , because she was crossing the lines with me , and then we ended up in bed together and I didn’t regret it , because I was so attracted to her and the connection we had together was amazing. After we had sex , I told her to leave her husband so her and I can be together , so she immediately ended it with him for me and filed divorce , , her and I ended up together and he disappeared , and I haven’t heard or seen him ever again , I found out through a friend that he moved away and that he is upset at me for taking his wife , I kind of felt bad but I didn’t regret it because her and I were a perfect match for each other , and she was absolutely beautiful to my eyes I felt like I was the man because I ended up with my crush , and I found out that she always had a crush on me as well, which I never knew she did until we started talking. Her and I ended up in a relationship and stayed together for a few years until she went off the deep end and started getting heavy into drugs and alcohol , I tried helping her but it was a lost cause that I couldn’t handle anymore , so I ended up dumping her and she blocked me from everything after that , I found out she got married again to another guy and I haven’t talked to her since. So I don’t regret the attraction and chemistry her and I had together whatsoever, cuz her and I had a lot of great times together and she rocked my world in bed. So I no longer really care if a girl is on a relationship already because she wouldn’t be coming on to me if she was happy in her relationship period , I’m not saying I run around looking for taken girls’ but if a taken girl comes on to me and I find her absolutely beautiful not my eyes and her and I have great chemistry and connection together , I am more than likely going to fuck her , if I find out she is lying , oh well, thanks for a good time but not a long time. Most females’ today have more than just one man whether she is single or taken , she has more than one man , so if she is choosing me , I am more than likely going to fuck her.

8 mo@thelovelywoman shrug, for all I know lol 🤣😆 my ramblings or babbling's carry over mountains or carry voices 👋🏻 worldwide. Nah I'm surely not that influential, with or without GAG - though even before Covid, I was always a chatty and approachable stranger at a cafe or a bar or whatever, like anyone enjoys bantering aka just talking shop even about news, life, politics, even with strangers, and then you never seem them again because it's just purely banter or small talk 🦜

No, because destroying someone’s foundation isn’t power, it’s weakness disguised as desire.
I don’t chase what belongs to someone else, and I don’t find thrill in chaos.
If a person’s loyalty can be stolen, I don’t want them not even for a moment.
Temptation may feed the ego, but integrity feeds the soul.
And I sleep better knowing I never had to break someone’s world just to prove my worth.
Regret? None.
Because self respect has always been my favorite sin to stay loyal to.00 Reply
Yes, but not intentionally. I met a guy at a time when I was in a really dark place. With him I felt like I existed and had a right to exist. I fell for him hard. Completely shattered my world when I found out he was married and I was basically just his kink.
As I was the oddity I was blamed entirely, it got pretty nasty. I was on the receiving end of abuse from both their families. She did leave him though.11 Reply

8 moI am not married. But here is my opinion.
If you decide to divorce your partner, nothing to regret it as long as you have a valid reason. But if you want to divorce your partner because of nothing or because of your mistress. Believe me, you regret that until you die

Anonymous(18-24)8 moI think I saved some marriages by giving the guy sex so he didn't have to leave his wife. If I ever stop giving my husband sex (I don't think I will but neither did those girls when they started out), he is free to go get it wherever he wants.

@glennos89 yes they are. Psychology is very clear on this. So be mad at science not me lol. The brain of someone who has the ability to cheat is the same brain that are serial killers/child molesters. They are pure evil...
Im curious to know, did it just start as being friends and then discussing more personal topics as time went on? Did you both hang out alone together before you had the urge?

8 moI have been the excuse for it but not the cause.
I do regret it though. I let ego and lust deceive me into thinking I was gaining something valuable.
00 ReplyNot marriages just a few relationships. I didn't feel bad because I didn't know and they hid it. Stopped talking to them afterwards.
