When a partner betrays you, does karma really get them later on?

A decade ago I was abandone in the altar in pain heart broken confused that was young me at the time this took place back in 2012. Now years later all this time I no longer live in that state I left for good. Now I was visiting and I hear conversations from locals that my ex-fiance just bad luck follows him in his 32 years yet he can not move forward in his career his wife has also had bad luck. Now this got my attention so when a partner or spouse betrayed their partner that spouse will have to face with karma?

Let me tell you something alright and I hope you keep it near and dear.. Karma does not exist! The notion is complete bullshit. Luck, irony, and religion are nice things to believe in and I'll leave those at that because I don't actually know. Anyway no karma.
