Are there really more breakups lately, or am I just noticing them?

maybe i spent too much time on social media but lately its like i keep noticing another girl who suddenly does not have a boyfriend. was this cute girl who grew up here and dating a hockey player she went to school far away and now all his pictures are gone from her page. and this local hair dresser who had been dating her boyfriend for a number of years gone are his pics from her tik tok. and a couple others i can't recall off hand but like a lot of break ups all of a sudden and of couples you did not expect to.

i suppose some stay together for ever , is some married couples here being a small town who have been married like 40 or 50 years if not more

those 2 girls i meet them when they were younger , i wanted to date that hairdresser when she was younger , meet her at beach her she was in a bikini so hot i can still remember her in it , then she started to date that other guy so they've dated for at least 3 or so years but seems to be over now all his video's and pics gone

there relationship might of been partly long distance , think he went somewhere far away for school maybe? and not sure he's still here

i never actually asked her out back then but weird was a second girl with her that day at beach years ago and this summer i bought her a shot at the bar and we'd talk at her work but didn't evolve into anything , think other girl might of been upset i liked her friend now but not sure that has anything at all to do with her break up , doubt it does but never know
