Off course there are valid reasons to end a relationship such as it being abusive and toxic (or if someone wants children and the other doesn't) obviously but it seems that nowadays everything is a deal-breaker.

- You had an your first argument and notice they got flaws----break-up

- After 4-5 years in a relationship they did a lame prank----break-up

- The infatuation stage is over and chemistry runs out after 2-3 years---break-up

- They are snoring badly and you can't get to sleep----break-up

- They arrive late on some dates but are overall a good person---break-up

Some people keep saying marriage is a joke. Well so are relationships, living together is a joke too... all that shaking up for a break-up later on lol. Everything seems like a joke nowadays. Seriously are people nowadays breaking up for anything?

Relationships take work but some aren't worth it.

It's best to cut your losses and let each other go if one person isn't into it.

One person clinging on while the other is too cowardly to outright breakup leads to resentment.

Source: my first ex - we both made mistakes. His was cheating, mine was trying to cling when it clearly wasn't working for either of us.

I see that all the time. Most of the times the reason they get into a relationship is to date for the sake of date, pure attraction and the early excitement without ever focusing on common goals and interest, views on wanting kids, what the person hobbies are, how well do they manage money, etc.

Yes, especially in marriage, and especially women.

Today' women have no sense of commitment.

Several of them are making it bad for the rest of us that actually work hard and can make it on our own without relying on someone's resources.
Monetary incentives for the spouse after a divorce needs to removed. Child support is one thing (it's your child after all) but money for someone that divorces for petty reasons such as the passion isn't there, he snores too much, he did a bad prank on her, etc?

I'm wondering what would happen if monetary incentives was removed and a woman that files for divorced were to get nothing? Would they still be motivated to divorce? Likely not. Laws can after all change any time. It's up to people to make it happen.

Remove that incentive and I'm willing to bet the original and real concept of commitment comes back. Breaking up or divorcing for petty reasons or only being faithful as long as you're infatuated and only wanting the good times (feeling the butterflies in your stomach all the time) isn't commitment.

I agree with most of what you said here. But I don't agree it is a minority of women who are causing the problem. Half of marriages end in divorce, and women file the vast majority of them. It's not just "several".

Yes, there are good women who are committed to making marriage work, through good times and bad. And yes, there are plenty of men at fault, too. But it's fair to say that women today are the majority of the problem.

I agree 100% that removing the incentive for women to divorce would make a huge improvement. That means financial incentives and child custody incentives. It just needs to be more fair. A lot more fair.
